Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Controller. The Controller is responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, payroll, cost accounting, financial analysis, accounts payable, providing oversight to the accounts receivables, managing the financial accounting/close and reporting process, completing tax packages, negotiate with vendors, bank reconciliations, and miscellaneous requests either from Corporate or the Facility for fiscal analysis and information. This position exercises independent judgement.

Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs.
Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs. We provide a caring and healthy environment that gives individuals a chance to make positive changes.

QualificationsREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
· Ensure timely close of monthly financial statements.
· Ensure that journal entries are correct and timely.
· Ensure that all revenues are accounted for.
· Ensure that Monthly Variance report is completed on a timely basis.
· Balance census for AS400 and Midas System is done each day.
· Add all assets to the fixed asset system monthly.
· Assist CFO with preparing quarterly CHIA reporting.
· Assist CFO with preparing quarterly and annual Audit and Tax Packages.
· Prepare quarterly sales tax returns.
· Oversees control of patient valuables.
· Completes monthly bank reconciliations.
· Assist CFO in preparing annual budget.
· Prepares bi-weekly FTE analysis.
· Responsible for all Data Processing requests.
· Assists the CFO in reviewing FTE’s, food costs, supplies, etc. to substantiate monthly goals.
· Assists and provides back-up of Accounts Payable procedures.
· Assists and provides back-up of Payroll procedures.
· Other assigned duties as requested.
· Responsible for budgeting, financial reporting, bank reconciliations and accounts payable.
· Provide financial analysis.
· Provide oversight of accounts receivable.
· Responsible for the facility payroll reconciliation and close.
· Manage the financial accounting close and reporting process.
· Complete tax packages.
· Responsible for vendor negotiation.
