Security Supervisor

This full-time position reports to the Security Manager and is located at the Electric Center, 1200 Fort Vancouver Way, Vancouver, WA 98663.

WHAT YOU WOULD DO:

• Serves as a security subject matter expert collaborating with security stakeholders in different Clark Public Utilities departments.
• Collaborates with management to assist with the development, preparation and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Coordinates the security programs to promote and ensure a safe working environment.
• Provide leadership and direction to contract physical security guards.
• Assist with implementing security improvements identified in program assessments.
• Coordinate security briefings and trainings to employees and executives.
• Assist with the annual risk assessment process and development of physical security goals and objectives.
• Participate in security working group to share information and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Public Administration, or other related field, or experience and education which provide an equivalent level of proficiency. Demonstrated experience in security, law enforcement or related field. Strong working knowledge of physical security systems, security protocols and processes, and emergency preparedness. Ability to communicate complex issues effectively, both verbally and in writing. Familiar with the security and law enforcement environment in the Pacific Northwest.

SALARY:

Clark Public Utilities’ salary ranges are market based and established annually. With full competency in the role and satisfactory performance the target is midpoint within the established range.

Security Supervisor: $92,211 - $120,609 - $149,007
