Job Title: Scheduling Coordinator Job Description The Scheduling Coordinator will coordinate the transferring and processing of material to maintain finished inventory levels and fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities Monitor and control inventory levels. Prepare and distribute daily processing schedules. Coordinate and analyze sales order schedules, customer orders, and special process requests. Create work orders and process Kanbans to communicate customer requirements and processing instructions to steel processing members. Verify and complete work orders. Monitor coils to ensure they are processed in FIFO (First In, First Out) order. Check coil tag specifications. Perform critical quality assurance checks on vital processing documents. Be on call in case emergency processing requirements arise. Essential Skills Inbound call handling Customer service Production scheduling Manufacturing process knowledge Excel data entry Data entry Microsoft Office proficiency Customer support Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, is a plus. Relevant quality control experience is advantageous. A 2-year or 4-year degree is beneficial but not required. Work Environment This position operates in a manufacturing/office environment. The work hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts from either 7:30am-4:30pm, 8:00am-5:00pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm.( Will have to stick to the schedule they end up choosing. This position will also be training to help out with the quality department.
