Sandy Pines is seeking a dynamic Risk Coordinator. (This is a temporary position and may require working overtime).

Sandy Pines Residential Treatment Center is a 149-bed Residential Psychiatric Facility servicing children and adolescents ages 5 to 17.  The facility is in beautiful South Florida, nestled beside Jonathan Dickinson State Park and just minutes away from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.  We are the largest treatment center of its kind in the southeast and host Riverbend Academy, an accredited school on our campus.

Job description:

Under the supervision of the Director of Risk Management / Performance Improvement provides guidance to reduce operational risk and provide guidance and direction to keep the facility accredited within the guidelines of JC and other regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Masters preferred and one to two years’ experience with children and adolescents preferred. Previous behavioral health experience would be a plus. Must be organized and detail oriented and have excellent computer (above average working knowledge of Microsoft office) and customer service experience
  • Three years clinical experience in a psychiatric in‑patient facility with knowledge of high- risk areas.

  • Follows all levels of confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Complies with safety and security policies and procedures, including those regarding incidents and injuries.
  • Understands and complies with the intent of the Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Ensures appropriate and timely reporting of occurrences; enters incidents into the Midas Database.
  • Demonstrates the necessary computer skills to perform reporting, documentation and day to day duties
