Salary: $70,000 + Benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week

Start: Immediate (willing to wait for notice period)

Contract: Permanent / Full-Time - (onsite)

Location: 57th Street, New York, 10019

🚀 Culture Guru is working with a prestigious tailoring business that has offices based in New York (USA) and London (UK). This bespoke luxury retail company is seeking a tech-savvy, detail-oriented and logistically-minded Operations Assistant who can hit the ground running.

💫 This opportunity will suit an Operations Assistant who is very "hands-on" with a "can-do" attitude. Production and Operations are both very busy departments within this reputable brand, you will be required to work onsite and you may occasionally be required to work weekends, in which case days in lieu would apply.

🤓 Responsibilities of the role but not limited to;

  • Assist with managing the company's Salesforce database, including data entry, updating records, and running reports.
  • Execute both inbound and outbound shipping processes by coordinating with production teams, ensuring accurate labelling, and monitoring delivery schedules.
  • Receive, unpack and distribute all inbound supply, DDU and DDP shipments, and take charge of all packing and shipping client and trunk show garments via FedEx.
  • Assist with production processes, including tracking inventory, maintaining production schedules, and coordinating with suppliers and vendors.
  • Accurately action trunk show projects, by ensuring all orders are linked to the relevant date and location, with accurately confirmed appointments.
  • Support the retail team by managing sales data, monitoring inventory, and coordinating with the sales team to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform quarterly stock take for all relatable items, such as archives, RTW and cloth.
  • Maintain knowledge of all collaborating mills/merchants and understand each distinct offering of their cloths/materials and pricing
  • Assist with administrative duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and scheduling appointments.
  • Manage the US operations dashboard - ensuring all reports are accurate and no unnecessary overdue tasks.
  • Collaborate with other members of the operations team to identify areas to improve and then implement the changes seamlessly.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain merchandising standards by assuring the store remains in line with brand identity.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding activities.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations, logistics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of luxury brands and products.
