Job Description

Sparo is a digital marketing agency based in Miami, FL, seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our fast-growing company of dynamic professionals. We are currently a fully-remote company with rapid growth opportunities, exciting clients, and a welcoming, hard-working team.

This opportunity is perfect for a professional who has a minimum of three years of full-time, post-collegiate marketing experience working in the field of social media or digital marketing . Experience at an agency in an account coordinator or account management type of role is strongly preferred, though other experience managing multiple projects/clients/stakeholders will also be considered.

The ideal candidate will be a people-oriented individual who enjoys interacting directly with clients. As a Marketing Specialist, you will serve as the liaison between the client and the internal teams, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities and success of the client’s marketing strategies. Problem-solving, strategic thinking, and creativity are key skills within this position for success. Good written and verbal communication skills are also a must. Excellent at time management and balancing multiple priorities. Interested in digital marketing as a holistic practice. Responsible for managing the marketing projects for multiple high-profile clients from the agency's portfolio in varied industries, including consumer technology, non-profit, fintech, beauty and fashion, CPG, hospitality, and more.

In terms of marketing, some familiarity with the following specialties is required: Social Media, Paid Digital Ads, Email and SMS Marketing; SEO and website development familiarity a bonus.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of client communications for assigned accounts, including:
  • Meeting agendas and invites
  • Follow-ups and recaps
  • Answering client’s questions
  • Manage all project management aspects of the account, including
  • Coordinating with internal teams
  • Assigning tasks and subtasks in Asana (project management tool) with appropriate context and description
  • Finding and assembling needed background information and resources for projects
  • Lead client status calls
  • Occasional content creation and project work, including:
  • Social media content
  • Email Marketing
  • Presentation Creation Using CANVA
  • Copywriting
  • Influencer Curation and Outreach
  • Collaboration with supervisor and internal teams to devise strategies for campaigns and initiatives
  • Review and provide internal feedback on deliverables provided for the account from the internal teams
  • Ensure reporting is accurate and delivered in a timely manner
  • Interfacing with client partners as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Primary Qualifications and Qualities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Previous official full-time experience of 3 years or more in the marketing field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent grasp of English spelling, grammar, and syntax
  • Fast learner with a can-do attitude
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and functionality
  • Self-starter comfortable in a remote work environment
  • Detail-oriented and able to track, manage and prioritize multiple projects
