Job Description

Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Hybrid in Portland, Oregon (remote schedule varies by weekly caseload)

Organization: Nonprofit Organization

Duration : 6 Month Contract-to-Hire

Pay: $40-$55/hr (based on experience)

Work Schedule:

  • Clinic hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.
  • Flexible work schedule: 4x10-hour days or 5x8-hour days.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive mental health services, advocacy, and resources to empower individuals and promote social justice.

Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to social justice, cultural competence, and a passion for working with diverse populations. This role involves providing direct clinical services, community outreach, and advocacy to support the mental health and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with community organizations and resources to support clients' needs.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to services.
  • Participate in community outreach and education initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in social work and mental health.
  • Manage a caseload of 20-30 patients per week.
  • Float to nearby clinics in North Portland as required.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Current LCSW license in the state of Oregon.
  • Strong understanding of cultural competence and social justice principles.
