Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the beauty industry? We are seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to join our team and play a key role in driving our success. In this exciting position, you will report directly to the Director of Inside Sales and have the opportunity to re-engage inactive customers while building strong relationships with our valued small accounts. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and vitality of our brand, making this a truly rewarding role.
This position supports our Texas region and is fully remote; however, we kindly ask that all interested candidates currently reside in Texas.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage your knowledge of our products, policies, and procedures to conduct successful and accurate sales transactions with both existing and prospective professional customer accounts.
- Utilize all available sales and marketing resources to guide professional stylists through a defined sales cycle.
- Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing professional customer accounts.
- Convert professional inbound and outbound calls into sales and add-on opportunities, including upselling and offering a full line of products.
- Meet and/or exceed defined sales quotas, quarterly objectives, and annual goals.
- Achieve new account quotas through effective lead development.
- Maintain excellent service levels by contacting all accounts in assigned vacant and non-rep territories monthly by phone.
- If a vacant territory arises, connect with all accounts in that territory at least once a month until a full-time Inside Sales Representative is appointed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of three years of sales experience, preferably with professional hair stylists or in the beauty industry.
- Proficient understanding of inside sales elements, including:
- Proven ability to achieve sales results.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Skills in customer qualification, acquisition, and business development utilizing effective sales techniques.
- Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate solutions to internal and external customers, as well as management.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
- Capacity to efficiently manage core job responsibilities and assigned projects while meeting established deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with customer relationship management databases.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and proprietary information with discretion.
- Experience with NetSuite and/or Shopify is a plus.
- Outstanding telephone and interpersonal communication skills.
- Exemplary oral and written communication abilities.
