Job Title: Estimator   

Position Summary:  

We are looking for a mid-level Estimator to join our growing, family-owned company that has been a leader in designing, manufacturing, and distributing ad specialty products for over 75 years. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a job shop environment , enjoys problem-solving, and values collaboration. 

As an Estimator, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate project estimates, working closely with both internal teams and clients to ensure smooth and efficient project planning. Experience in digital printing, sandblasting, and laser imprinting on various substrates is a big plus. If you're detail-oriented, mathematically inclined, and enjoy working in a dynamic setting, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Prepare accurate cost estimates based on project specifications, ensuring efficiency and profitability. 
• Analyze job specifications, materials, and production methods to determine pricing and timelines. 
• Collaborate with production, sales, and customer service teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency of estimates. 
• Work directly with clients and internal teams to clarify project details and provide accurate quotes. 
• Maintain accurate records of estimates, adjustments, and job progress. 
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. 

Qualifications & Skills:  

• Experience in estimating within a job shop environment is required (experience in digital printing, sandblasting, or laser imprinting is a plus). 
• Strong math skills and attention to detail are a must.  Knowledge of cost accounting is a plus. 
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (ECI M1 or other ERP software) is preferred. 
• Ability to interpret job specs and translate them into accurate cost estimates . 
• Strong communication skills—comfortable working with co-workers and clients to solve problems and improve workflows. 
• A positive, open-minded attitude with a focus on collaboration and teamwork. 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Salary Range : $55,000 - $70,000
