About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic and analytical thinker who is creative, tech-savvy, and passionate about email/SMS marketing. As a Lifecycle Marketing Strategist, you will be client-facing and responsible for crafting and executing comprehensive email and SMS strategies. You’ll collaborate closely with copywriters, designers, and implementation teams to ensure campaigns meet client goals and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategy Development: Create and manage comprehensive email/SMS marketing strategies, including customer journey roadmaps, campaigns, workflow automations, and list growth strategies.
• ESP Management: Oversee client ESPs (Klaviyo, Active Campaign, Mailchimp, etc.), troubleshoot issues, and manage data integrations.
• Performance Analysis: Regularly assess email/SMS performance, benchmark results, set goals, and provide data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Project Coordination: Lead and guide copywriters, implementation, and designers to produce high-quality, compelling work that aligns with strategic goals.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships.
• Quality Assurance: Proofread and review all work to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Cross-Channel Collaboration: Work with other marketing channels, such as organic and paid social, to provide clients with a seamless and well-rounded experience.

About You:

We are seeking a candidate with the following qualities and skills:

• D2C Email/SMS Marketing Expertise: 3-5+ experience in a similar role, agency experience highly preferred.
• Client-Facing Experience: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to confidently answer questions and solve problems.
• Attention to Detail: You catch mistakes before they reach the client and deliver polished, error-free work.
• Proactive & Resourceful: A self-starter who takes initiative, researches solutions, and is quick on your feet.
• High Emotional Intelligence (EQ): Adept at managing client relationships with empathy and professionalism.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiar with tools such as Monday and Figma, and comfortable managing ESP platforms.
• Collaborative Mindset: You thrive in a team environment and enjoy guiding creative and technical teams to success.
